The Cathedral of Naples, dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta and San Gennaro, is the city’s principal place of worship and a treasure house of art layered over the centuries.
Over the years Friends of Naples has supported a series of distinct interventions in the Cathedral: from the sixteenth-century wooden doorway to the Capece Minutolo Chapel, through to the memorial stones of the family of Pope Innocent XII Pignatelli di Spinazzola and of the Dentice del Pesce family.
